Mobility for traineeship
Step 1. Recruitment process and necessary documents.
1) Recruitment meeting relating to departures in the particular academic year is held between February and March. Information noticing the beginning of recruitment appears about a month earlier on the website www.cwz.wsg.byd.pl and in the ISAPS system.
2) Before the recruitment meeting you have to handle a complete set of necessary documents to staff members of the International Affairs Department, which includes:
-filled and signed application form
-resume in English
-cover letter in English
-certificates of additional achievements and student activity
-certificate of the average grade of last closed academic year from Dean's Office of WSG
3) It's worth familiarising with stories of students, who participated in foreign internships in past years. They are available on the website of the International Affairs Department.
4) After handling the documents as above, candidates receive information about the date and place of the interview by email.
5) Interview is held in English or another language if it is a language of an internship.
6) Candidacy of students will be marked in:
-knowledge of English or other language-25%
-average grade from last closed academic year-25%
-result of the interview (student's motivation to studying)-30%
-active participation in favor of the university, activity in scientific circles, participation in the scheme Study Buddy, active participation in other organizations and students associations, not being scientific circles-20%
7) Information about available places and conditions of internships will be provided by the University's Coordinator of Erasmus+ Scheme during office hours for students and will be available on the website www.cwz.wsg.byd.pl in bookmark Erasmus+ Internships.
8)Candidates will be informed about the results of recruitment by email at the latest two weeks after the recruitment meeting.
Step 2. Signing an agreement between the student and the University of Economy and insurance.
1) After receiving a piece of information about qualifying for departure for internship of Erasmus+ scheme, you should visit the University's Coordinator of Erasmus+ in WSG to sign an agreement.
2) Staying in a foreign institution should last as long as it is in the agreement between the student and
WSG. Changes are possible if agreed in writing by the University's Coordinator of Erasmus+. Immediately after signing the agreement, there will be a 90% of scholarship for departure on the student's account. Next 10% of scholarship student receives after arrival providing presenting to the university the complete set of documents. The student should be familiar with the Erasmus Student's Card.
3)Qualified candidates before departure should care about health insurance abroad. The University recommends applying to Wojewódzki Oddział Narodowego Funduszu Zdrowia for issuing the European Card of Health Insurance.
Step 3. Internships
1) The student can contact the International Affairs Department of WSG during the internship by telephone or email with every important issue for him.
2) Internship may only be shortened in exceptional situations and under receiving written agreement from University's Coordinator of Erasmus+. Internships can not be shorter than 60 days.
3) During the internship the student may receive a salary. Its amount is depended on the institution, where internships are held.
4)The Student will be informed before departure about the amount of salary, days off, weekly work hours, and conditions of accommodation and sustenance.
Step 4. Formalities after return
1) To get credit from departure for studies as part of the Erasmus+ programme, one must present the full set of documents signed by a foreign university:
-Learning Agreement for Traineeships
-Confirmation Letter
2) To the email, given in the process of recruitment, the student will also obtain a link to the Erasmus survey.
Filling it in is mandatory. Link to survey is to be sent on the email, which the student has given in the process of recruitment. Links to model documents: Learning Agreement for Traineeships, Confirmation Letter.
3) The student is also obliged to submit language tests before and after mobility on the OLS platform. The link to the platform will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the student during the recruitment process.
4) The whole period of traineeship as part of the Erasmus + program is included in the student's achievements.
5) Every student also prepares a report from departure in English or Polish language. The report should contain at least 3600 signs and 10 described pictures. The report must be sent 30 days after return from studies to: dsm@byd.pl. The material will be published on the website of the International Affairs Office.
